Covenant Children's Hosts Annual NICU Reunion

Covenant Children's Hospital was excited to celebrate the 2014 Annual NICU reunion on May 3rd. Cowgirls and Buckaroos alike showed up for the Boot Scootin' Bonanza themed day of activity and fun all to celebrate the graduates of the Covenant NICU.

Families and graduates had an array of excitement from lip smackin' treats and giveaways to art projects and a photo booth with all sorts of country get-up. The art project for the 2014 reunion was a thumbprint cowboy art project which will be displayed in the Covenant NICU from now on.

It is such a joy for the NICU nurses to have the opportunity to reunite with the children and families that they cared for and see how the children have grown; but it is also a joy for those families to come back and proudly share their child with those nurses and doctors who knew them so well when they were so little.

There is nothing more beautiful than the growth and strength of a child, and we celebrate that here at Covenant.

Congratulations to our graduates and thank you for being a part of our special event and forever a part of the Covenant family. Each of you is very special and dear to us.
