Covenant Children's is committed to excellence in patient and family-centered pediatric care, professional education and clinical research. We offer comprehensive, personalized and state-of-the-art care for children and adults who have, or may have, a congenital heart problem. We provide a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including echocardiogram, fetal echocardiography, and diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, exercise stress testing and holter recordings.
Today, cardiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons treat complex congenital heart defects using techniques that were considered impossible just a decade ago. The Isom Heart Center Services for Children provides a full spectrum of pediatric heart care right here in Lubbock. Covenant is the only facility in the region that offers the advanced capabilities required for the comprehensive treatment of children's heart disease. Types of Congenital Heart Defects

Fetal Heart Program
Covenant Maternal-Fetal Medicine functions in a role to coordinate the needed multidisciplinary approach required if a concern for your baby's development or well-being is suspected before birth. Additional members of this multifaceted team will include Covenant's women's obstetrical coordinator and a neonatologist alongside highly-skilled nurses from Antepartum and Labor and Delivery.

Beads of Courage Cardiac Program
This program is a resilience-based intervention designed to support and strenghten children and families coping with serious illness. Children tell their story through the program using colorful beads as meaningful symbols of courage that commemorate milestones they have achieved along their unique treatment path.
